Liu Tingting

Dr. Liu completed her undergraduate study at the Department of Sociology, Anhui University in 2004 and postgraduate study at the Department of Sociology, Nanjing University in 2007. She got her PhD degree from the Department of Social Work and Social Administration, The University of Hong Kong in 2012. Then she served the Department of Applied Social Sciences as a postdoctoral fellow until 2013. Currently she is an academic member in the Department of Sociology, Wuhan University, whose research interests include the development of children and youth, family functioning, and social work theories and application.

Projects

Dr. Liu is currently taking charge of the Project “The risk factor system of child abuse and the intervention of social work” (Youth Project) funded by the Independent Research Foundation of Wuhan University and the Project of English Course Development on “Introduction to social work” supported by Wuhan University. During her PhD and postdoctoral study, she also participated in the Project “Child Abuse and Child Protection in China” funded by UBS Optimus foundation, the Project “P.A.T.H.S. to Adulthood: A Jockey Club Youth Enhancement Scheme”, and the Project “Service Leadership Curriculum Development in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University” funded by the Victor & William Fung Foundation.
